Welcome!

The mission of the GTFWC  is friendship, scholarship, and service. We hope that you will enjoy discovering the programs, community service projects and interest groups we offer. Membership is open to all who want to join us in supporting the Georgia Tech community.

In addition to the scheduled events listed in the directory, we will announce fun pop-up events on our Facebook page. There is so much to do in Atlanta, and it’s always more fun with friends.  To keep up to date on all our activities and club news, please become a member of our private Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/GTFWC/

Please consider making a donation to our scholarship fund. Last year your contributions allowed us to award five scholarships totaling $10,000 to students who have a parent employed at a Georgia Tech. This year we hope to increase the amount of scholarships we award.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events this academic year.

It is an upscale boutique bowling and entertainment venue in an industrial warehouse space in the heart of Buckhead’s Miami Circle.
Besides “upscale bowling,” also available will be beer, cocktails, snacks, desserts, bocce, ping-pongand skee-ball. The strawberry shortcake is rumored to be particularly delicious!

Please join us in helping the Historic Fourth Ward Park Conservancy maintain and improve Fourth Ward Park.

We will be weeding to remove invasive plants so that the ecosystems can continue to thrive, and we’ll also possibly be installing mulch.

Tools and gloves will be provided, but you may bring your own.

November Wine Tasting @ Marietta Wine Market

Located just off the square in Mariea, Mariea Wine Market has arranged a wine tasting.  SPOUSES ARE WELCOME! You can relax at the bar or on a comfty couch or chair while you taste, learn about wine, and meet your friends.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres are served at the tastings and donation proceeds go to our GTFWC Scholarship Fund.

They carry over 500 wines and many beers, and also have beautiful gift baskets, hors d’oeuvres for sale, as well as home accessories.

This will be an afternoon of pure indulgence!

and friends to an exciting game when the GT Women’s Basketball team takes on Virginia
Tech! This Sunday game is family time with fun plans for the kids beginning at
1:00 pm.

Kid Zone (outside Callaway Club)!
Meet and greet Buzz and/or Cheerleaders!

The Center for Civil and Human Rights in downtown Atlanta is an engaging cultural attraction that connects the American Civil Rights Movement to today’s Global Human Rights Movements.

Their purpose is to create a safe space for visitors to explore the fundamental rights of all human beings so that they leave inspired and empowered to join the ongoing dialogue about human rights in their communities.

All types of human rights are addressed: race, religious, gender, and more.
